Students should be relatively fit and are expected to participate in two asana classes daily during the intensive. You will have some homework in the form of writing assignments. Prepare to commit 40 hours/week to the immersion.

- Commit to getting 8 or 9 hours of sleep each night. (Most of us do not get enough sleep. During rest, the body and mind have a chance to regenerate.)
- Always drink lots of pure filtered water that isn't flavored, fluoridated, or chlorinated.
- Eat a healthy diet rich in whole foods, healthy fats, protein, vegetables, and fruit, and reduce or eliminate red meat, processed foods, and alcohol.
- Examine current and upcoming responsibilities to clear your schedule of commitments and distractions.
